Wi-Fi Certification Process

Is your company developing its first IEEE 802.11 product and wants to become Wi-Fi CERTIFIED™? The following few steps will help guide you through the process.

  1. Go to the Wi-Fi Alliance® website (www.wi-fi.org) and fill out an online application form to become a member, as only WFA members can certify products.
  2. When the Wi-Fi Alliance approves your membership, your company name and password will be emailed to you.
  3. Return to www.wi-fi.org and log in using your company name and password
  4. Select Testing Application
  5. Choose CETECOM Milpitas USA as your test lab.
  6. Select which testing will need to be done.
  7. Submit your request
  8. A “Wi-Fi® Alliance Product Test Lab Request” will be sent to us and a quotation and test schedule will be provided.
