September 2009: Milpitas, CA

CETECOM Inc. has announced its specialized “EMC Hybrid” chamber is in full operation.  The EMC Hybrid is capable of testing both Radiated Spurious Emissions and Over the Air Performance for:

  • GSM, GPRS, EGPRS, WCDMA, CDMA, 1xRTT, EvDO
  • Wi-Fi / mobile converged devices
  • A-GPS over GSM, WCDMA, CDMA
  • Bluetooth, WLAN
  • Passive antenna

Designed and built by ETS Lindgren, the EMC Hybrid is a fully anechoic rectangular chamber supporting testing in the 30 MHz - 8 GHz frequencies.  The addition of the EMC Hybrid triples CETECOM’s OTA testing capacity and doubles its EMC emissions capacity.  This allows customers to benefit from shortened test lead times in areas such as PTCRB and FCC.  CETECOM is committed to providing the best possible service to its customers and will continue to expand its test capabilities.
