CTIA OTA Test Plan V3.0 Officially Released

The CTIA Over the Air test plan V3.0 has officially been released. The test plan will take effect later this year. The major changes include:
- Additional test setup of Phantom Head plus Hand - Previously free space, SAM left and right ear were required
- A-GPS OTA testing
- MediaFLO™ OTA testing
- Additional Channels required in TIS Intermediate Channel Testing – Previously testing was sufficient on a channel spacing < 500 KHz. Now every channel must be tested in the GSM bands regardless of spacing. In the 3G bands, the channel separation for self interference testing is 2.4 MHz.
