CETECOM Inc. announced its newest “Hybrid” chamber is now CTIA accredited to perform testing according to the CTIA Test Plan for Mobile Stations Over the Air Performance. The Hybrid chamber is the third CTIA accredited OTA chamber at its Milpitas, California facility. This latest development demonstrates CETECOM’s drive to ensure shorter certification lead times to its customers.
The name Hybrid implies its dual capabilities in testing OTA and Radiated Spurious Emissions – requirements for PTCRB certification. Testing can be conducted on the following technologies:
- GSM, GPRS, EGPRS, WCDMA, CDMA, 1xRTT, EvDO
- Wi-Fi / mobile converged devices
- A-GPS over GSM, WCDMA, CDMA
- Bluetooth, WLAN
